Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed-martial artist. Her birth date was August 18, 1986. She is currently in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) where she was a past UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was previously a part of Strikeforce where she was an Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion. Tate was vice-president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked 10 in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings on the 3rd of October 2022.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born to Michelle Tate in Tacoma (Seattle), Washington. She was raised by Robert Schmidt and Michelle. Being a typical teenager she was often socializing with the boys in her neighborhood on playgrounds.
